FAQs
The answers to your questions
What should I wear for my headshot session?
I always recommend choosing clothing that feels polished, comfortable, and aligned with your brand. Solid colors usually photograph beautifully, and it is best to avoid anything overly distracting. If you are not sure what to wear, I am happy to help guide you before your session.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely. Most people are not in front of a camera every day, and I do not expect you to magically know what to do. I will guide you through posing, posture, and expression so your images feel relaxed and professional.
Do you offer team headshots for businesses?
Yes. I photograph both individual headshots and team headshots for businesses across Vermont. On-location sessions are a great option if you want a consistent look for multiple employees without having everyone travel.
Do you offer personal branding sessions too?
Yes. If you need more than a standard headshot, personal branding sessions are a great choice. These can include a variety of portraits and business-focused images for your website, social media, and marketing.
Where do headshot sessions take place?
Sessions can take place in a studio-style setup or on location at your business, office, or another setting that fits your brand. We can choose the option that best supports the look you want.
Do you photograph headshots outside of Burlington?
Yes. I work with clients throughout Vermont, including Burlington, Middlebury, Shelburne, South Burlington, and surrounding areas.
How often should I update my headshot?
A good rule of thumb is every one to three years, or anytime your appearance, business, brand, or role has changed in a noticeable way. If your current image no longer feels like you, it is probably time.
