Meet Brian:

Hi, I’m Brian Farnum, the creative force behind B. Farnum Photography. My passion for photography began when I picked up my first 35mm film camera in high school. The experience of capturing moments on black and white film, waiting for the development process, and finally seeing the images come to life ignited a deep love for the art of photography. Graduating at the turn of the millennium, when Y2K didn’t get me, this early hands-on experience taught me the fundamentals of light, composition, and the importance of capturing authentic moments.Growing up in Vermont has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the beauty and charm of this state. My parents grew up in the picturesque towns of Manchester and Peru, which has given me a unique perspective on the hidden gems in southern Vermont. Having lived in Rutland County and now residing in Addison County, I have an extensive knowledge of the stunning locations Vermont has to offer.My journey in photography has been driven by a love for storytelling and a commitment to excellence. I take a personalized approach to every session, ensuring that your personality and style shine through in every image. I make it a priority to observe and understand your activity and preferences, so I can tailor each session to fit your unique needs and deliver a truly personalized photography experience. Photography is not just about taking pictures for me; it’s about capturing the genuine emotions and moments that you will cherish for a lifetime. Understanding each client’s unique story is key to my work and helps me create images that are meaningful and authentic.
